Thanks for showing up.
If you don’t know me this is a good place to learn. If you do know me, assume that you don’t.
This blog is all about music. Specifically, my music. I make no qualms about that. What I will say is that it’s music from my heart. I don’t write songs to be the winner on American Idol, or radio friendly, or to tickle anyone’s fancy but my own and God’s. I would like for you to enjoy my music, and pray that you do. In fact, if I could make you smile, or cry, or tap your foot, or nod your head, I would be a happy man.
I wanted to start a blog to give context to the sound. I don’t believe that an artist is mutually exclusive to that which he or she creates. That is not to say we are in essence the same with our little creations; just that what we create is in a very real sense an extension of who we are – a profound outworking of the things we hold most dear. But, most of all, because I, along with my wife, am on a journey. Certainly, one without a sure destination, but a journey nonetheless. I hope through my music, this blog, and gigs, we can take some of that journey together.
Peace,
Justin Isaac

Hi Justin
I’ve probably been on the dusty road a bit longer but we seemed to have called in at the same sort of places.
Excellent guitar playing and songwriting – lots of craftsmanship and musicality. I like the fact that you recorded live – one take.
You sound like a committed artist with a work/life ethic. I’m looking forward to hearing more.
